Self Esteem!
So, what is self esteem you say? Well, self esteem is confidence
in one’s own worth or abilities, thoughts
and feelings are based on experiences or life. When going through adolescence, one's self esteem can vary greatly either going from high self esteem week or a very low self esteem week. So you might be thinking, well why does it matter. Actually it matters greatly, we act in way based on our self esteem. For example, if someone has very low self esteem, they might have their shoulder's drooped, walking slowly, their face show no sign of happiness. Whereas, a person with high self esteem might have a confident stride, shoulders up and very conversational towards other and having the ability to be happy!
Some tips for improving self esteem are:
- Try to stop thinking negative thoughts about yourself - you have to remember that no one is perfect and everyone has flaws. don't let them affect the way you feel.
- View mistakes as learning opportunities - Ever heard of 'learn form your mistakes? Well, its true you learn more from you mistakes than you successes and don't feel that mistakes are bad things that show the flaws in you, they are thing that you still need to learn form.
- Try new things - Try to go for new things, try to put yourself out of your comfort zone. These things will certainly improve your self esteem.
With these tips you will certainly learn to boost your self esteem!
